I am an RCI licensed psychologist with a demonstrated history of working in the mental healthcare sector. Skilled in Parent Counselling, Life Skills Training, Child and Adolescent Assessments and Interventions, I am a Mental Health professional with an Advance Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling from National Institute Of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD), a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, and a Bachelors in Psychology (H) from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. I co-founded an NGO, Karma Foundation with an intent to work and understand the fundamental gap that exists in our society’s worldview of mental health. I take up Life Skills Education for students of different schools and for underprivileged children in different orphanages with a focus on areas like self-awareness, self-esteem, time management, emotional regulation, bullying, and sex education. Also, I worked as a Counsellor and a Special Educator at G.D Goenka Global School. Assessing and working closely with children who have special needs, steering parent training and even teachers to better equip them to deal with diversity in their classrooms. I align with working towards eradicating the stigma around mental health which is caused by fear of the unknown and firmly believe in using my expertise as a sword to write/talk about it, not only to sensitise people but to empower them for a more enlightened way of living.

I am an ex-HR professional with an MBA in HR. I worked for 3 years in the corporate field, post which I decided to pursue my passion in psychology. I completed Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pune University along with an extensive training in REBT-CBT psychotherapy from India affiliated centre of Albert Ellis Institute, New York. My current work revolves around adults and adolescents with a special interest in women's health, wellbeing and leadership. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy in addition to others depending on the needs of the individual. A firm believer of Self-love and respect, I uphold that one can lead a reasonably happy life by just gaining insight about one's thought patterns.
