I am a Counselling Psychologist and did my Masters from the University of Mumbai and graduation from M.S. University, Baroda. I specialise in various therapies like CBT, Psychotherapy, and Hypnotherapy to name a few. I am a Wellprenuer who believes that every person can unlock their full potential and lead a mindful life by taking care of their mental health. I founded MindKnit - A Touch of Care with an aim to knit the well being of people. The mission of MindKnit is to spread awareness about mental health, and encourage people to seek help and normalise the idea of counselling.

About Us

We at Enlightenfy, believe that Mental health goes beyond psychological disorders and its management. It is, in fact, the state of emotional well-being that ensures our optimum functioning in all realms of life from health, relationships, parenting, work, to the way we treat ourselves and others. In this sense, Mental Health is in itself, a lens to view the world we exist in.

Seeking for others to choose us is human. Seeking Seeking for others to choose us is human. Seeking validation is human. However, when we put ourselves in a position of waiting for another person to choose us, we hand over both our power and self-worth to them. Sometimes, we become so concerned about being accepted and valued by others (our family, friends, partner, colleagues, or even society) that we tend to invalidate, trivialise, or dismiss our own truth.

Today, I’d like to encourage y’all to pause and tune in to your lived truth, ACKNOWLEDGE it, ALLOW yourself to feel it without shame, and CHOOSE to understand yourself.

This post is a reminder that I see you struggling to see your own worth, to see parts of you that you’ve buried so deep to hide from a world that wouldn’t accept you for who you are. Remember, you are seen, heard, and valued, even if you feel otherwise. Drop a ‘❤️’ if you’d begin to validate your emotions and your being.

As a trained psychologist, one of the questions th As a trained psychologist, one of the questions that I get asked the most is “what is the worst mental health issue you’ve witnessed so far?”. I believe it isn’t the mental illness in itself, but the denial or minimisation of the impact or the importance of mental health which is the most severe.

It took me years of experience to gauge that no matter how severe our mental health condition, if we accept it and work towards it, we always have a chance to improve it. However, if we deny or attach labels and harsh words to it, we not only impede our growth, but we also further stigma around mental health.

Let’s understand that mental health is not a “one size fits all” approach. Think before you casually slip these labels in your conversations.

⭐️You get to be YOU⭐️ We’ve all stumble ⭐️You get to be YOU⭐️

We’ve all stumbled across some valleys in the mountain of our lives that almost forces us to see it from a ‘before and after’ lens.
If that’s you, today is a gentle reminder for you to know that contrary to what you may believe, your life is NOT a before and after story of growth or progress. It doesn’t need to be either. You are a whole, complex, ever-changing human being and your humanity needs no proof!

Share this post to remind your dear ones that life is not linear. Progress is not linear. And growth is most definitely NOT linear.
You get be just you 💜
