Alongside changing the world around the safety of women, we also need to empower women to efficiently deal with unfortunate events. In memory of the ‘Nirbhaya’ incident, Karma foundation organised a self-defence workshop for women. There were street plays, poem recitations, songs and even slogans to spread awareness about the safety of women and to encourage them to become self-reliant to protect themselves when needed.
