THOSE IN NEEDS

A Rally For Women Empowerment

Discrimination has been shown to cause stress, depression and anxiety, along with resulting impact on one’s relationships, employment and overall health. In this light, we organised a rally to spread awareness about gender equality and the importance of treating women respectfully. Mrs Barkha Singh, Chairperson of Delhi Commission for women, inaugurated the rally and supported our cause. More equality, more hope, and more humanity!

Dance For Inclusion

Inclusion is not just an opportunity for all of us to come together, rather it is our right. Those who are differently-abled also have rights like their non-disabled counterparts – primarily the right to belong and contribute to the community. Then, it is our responsibility to provide opportunities so that they are not excluded. In this direction, UNV India and UNHCR India organised #DanceForInclusion in collaboration with Those In Need, as a means to initiate unquestioned acceptance in our society for the differently-abled.
