With a stern belief that being safe and secure improves a woman’s psychosocial well-being, the team of Karma Foundation with the support of Ms Barkha Singh (Chairperson, Delhi Commission for Women) and Ms Shweta Mehta (Founder, Mehar Charitable Trust) organised an event to create awareness about the plight of growing number of rapes and sexual harassment. Dignitaries like lawyers, social activists, and police officers were invited to have interactive sessions about the impact of rape on one’s overall well-being. We all, as a unit, pledged to respect women and be the change we wanted to see in the world.
